Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Tuesday (17 February) received the Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, Igor Popov of the Russian Federation, James Warlick of the United States of America, and Pierre Andrieu of France, who are in Armenia as part of their visit to the region. Andrzej Kasprzyk, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, also participated in the meeting.
According to the press service of the Armenian President the diplomats presented Sargsyan with the impressions of their meetings in Baku the previous day, discussed their concerns regarding the current stage of the peace process and issues pertaining to further steps. According to the same source at the meeting, Serzh Sargsyan welcomed the statement issued by the OSCE Minsk Co-Chair in Krakow on 27 January 2015. According to the President, it clearly differed from the previous statements in calling on Azerbaijan to observe its commitments to a peaceful resolution of the conflict.

First Vice-President Aliyeva noted that Azerbaijan is located at the crossroads between the civilizations of the East and West, and is one of the few countries that are a member of both the Council of Europe and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The transfer of the body of Tatunashvili back to Georgian jurisdiction was facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross. It is now expected that the Georgian authorities will hold an autopsy on the body to ascertain the cause of death.
