Azerbaijan has announced that its Armed Forces will hold large-scale military exercises under field conditions from12-18 November. The Defence Ministry said that the purpose of the exercises will be to test the armed forces command and control capacity and check weapon systems.
According to the Defence Ministry, quoted by APA, 60,000 officers and men, more than 50 aircraft and helicopters, more than 150 tanks and armored combat vehicles, as well as up to 700 rocket systems and artillery pieces will participate in the exercises.
