President Serzh Sargsyan of Armenia and President Hasan Rouhani of Iran met in Tehran on Sunday (6 August).
Yesterday President Sargsyan was one of the international guests present at President Rouhani's swearing-in ceremony following his re-election.
Armenian media reported that during today's meeting Sargsyan and Rouhani discussed various issues related to bilateral co-operation, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. President Rouhani welcomed the recent agreement that abolished visa requirements for people from the two countries to visit.
