A trilateral meeting of the heads of the general staff of the ministries of defence of Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey was held in Tbilisi on Tuesday, 17 October.
This is the second such meeting. The next one is scheduled to be held in Azerbaijan in 2018.
The Heads of the general staff of the three nations signed a document reiterating their support to regional and global peace.
The document also highlighted the three countries' readiness for peaceful resolution of conflicts and supporting one another's territorial integrity.
The heads of the general staff stressed the importance for closer ties and cooperation in military education.
