Armenians report incidents in the Karabakh conflict zone; Azerbaijanis say nothing happened

Armenian media, citing reports from the authorities of the self-declared Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, say that an incident took place early on Thursday morning (25 January)near the South-eastern part of the line of contact close to the village of Kuropatkino. The sources say that an infiltration attempt was repulsed, and that Azerbaijani forces suffered casulaties.

Azerbaijani military sources later in the day denied the incident had taken place, and say that the situation on the line of contact is calm.
