Georgian Prime Minisiter, Giorgi Kvirikashvili was in Yerevan on Friday (2 March) for talks with the Armenian leadership. He met with president Serzh Sargsyan, Prime Minister karen Karapetyan and other officials.
Welcoming the Georgian Prime Minister, President Serzh Sargsyan said that meetings between the two sides contribute to increasing trade turnover and strengthening the cooperation in economy, culture and other spheres. "The results are visible and measurable, and this is very important", the President said.
President Sargsyan invited Georgia to participate in the Summit of Francoiphone countries. whci will take place in Armenia later this year. Kvirikashvili said that Georgia will attend the Francophone Summit at a high level.

The European Union condemned in the strongest possible terms the recent attack in Salisbury. EU leaders agreed with the UK government's assessment that it is highly likely that the Russian Federation is responsible and that there is no plausible alternative explanation.
