European Union High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Federica Morgherini, discussed the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in discussions with Armenian prime minister Nikol Pashinyan on Tuesday, According to the press service of the European External Action Service, Morgherini "advocated Prime Minister Pashinyan’s full engagement in negotiations without preconditions, under the auspices of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs".
The statement said that at their meeting, Morgherini and Pashinyan "discussed the importance of implementing the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement to underpin domestic reform in Armenia, for which Federica Mogherini confirmed the European Union's full support. They also exchanged on the prospects for opening a visa liberalisation dialogue between the EU and Armenia."
The statement added that "High Representative Mogherini and Prime Minister Pashinyan took stock of a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in light of recent contacts between Armenia and Azerbaijan. High Representative Mogherini advocated Prime Minister Pashinyan's full engagement in negotiations without preconditions, under the auspices of the Minsk Group Co-Chairs."

The website of the Armenian government said that Nikol Pashinyan and Mamuka Bakhtadze "emphasised the importance of Armenian-Georgian relations in all spheres and expressed confidence that further active cooperation will promote the development and expansion of cooperation between the two neighbouring and friendly states in a number of directions".
Addressing the Council meeting in Geneva, ahead of the vote on Friday (22 March), Georgia's Deputy Foreign Minister, Lasha Darsalia, said that the recent death of Irakli Kvaratskhelia whilst in detention in Abkhazia highlighted the urgency of the matter.
