The co-Chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Process, who lead the efforts to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh confkict, are currently in the South caucasus for talks with leaders and stakeholders.
On Thursday, 30 May, the diplomats from France, Russia and the United States met with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev. They were accompanied by the Special Representative of the Slovak Chairmanship of the OSCE, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
Earlier, the diplomats were in Yerevan for meetings with Armenian leaders. They also visited nagorno-Karabakh for meetings with the de facto leaders of the territory.

This week it was the turn of the village of Gugutiantkari, to the east of the South Ossetian administrative capital Tskhinvali. The fence being constructed cuts across the village. This latest development has already been condemned by various governments and international organisations.
Georgia wine sales to Russia have dropped by 27% in July, compared to the same month last year. The decline in exports has already impacted the demand for grapes by wine-producers, meaning that it is affecting a number of rural areas in the country.
