Armenia on Thursday marked the anniversary of the establishment of the the first Armenian republic on 28 May 1918.
In Yerevan, State leaders, all wearing masks and observing social distancing, paid tribute at the Sardarapat memorial on the anniversary of the declaration of the first Armenian republic on 28 May 1918.
In a message, prime minister Nikol Pashinyan said, "We will have the Armenia of our dreams with a just, non-violent society, a creative society striving for progress and change, a strong economy and an even stronger and more modern army."
